Education Satires
I honestly was really confused by the fable. I never really understood them because the moral or lesson always went over my head. I think the fable tried to show people that if you try your best you can do anything. The way the animals did things and the way we do things now is different. The animals took classes for both their strengths and weaknesses so they could try to be the best in everything. Unlike the animals, we try to take classes or do things that revolve around our strengths and forget our weaknesses. For me, I am terrible at science so instead of taking a science my senior year I took two math classes because math was my strength. The fable portrayed something different from what we do now.

The commercial talked about the things that happen at college, but are never really talked about. This commercial was totally different from the commercials that you would regularly see in order to promote the school. I think the commercial was supposed to be a comical way of making the college more realistic and not candy coating anything. I thought the people in the commercial scared me because of their constant smiling. It was needed though because it was their way of making fun that everyone is always happy in commercials, especially in college commercials.

These two satires were very different, but I liked them both.
